Membrane filtration technology and seawater desalination are becoming the core future development directions in water treatment following the water shortage and increasing demands for reclaimed water utilization and the secondary water source in coastal cities. Technologies such as ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, dual-membrane processes, and seawater desalination systems are being widely applied in projects including municipal water supply, industrial water use, reclaimed water reuse, and overseas water management. Meanwhile, AI-optimized operation, energy-related cost control, fluctuation management of inflow quality, and enhancement of system stability are becoming the critical challenges in the scale application of membrane technologies. How to reduce energy consumption and improve system economics while maintaining the treatment efficacy remains the key and ongoing attentions of the whole industry.
Aquatech China 2026将于10月28日10:30-12:30举办“膜过滤技术与海水淡化研讨会”。会议将围绕海水淡化系统优化、超滤/反渗透双膜法、再生水回用、沿海城市第二水源建设及“一带一路”海外水务项目等议题展开交流，邀请膜技术企业、工程公司、科研机构和国际水务项目代表共同参与，探讨膜技术应用与全球水资源解决方案的新机会。
Membrane Filtration and Seawater Desalination Summit Forum will be held at Aquatech China 2026 from 10:30 a.m to 12:30p.m on October 28th. Hot topics such as optimization of seawater desalination system, ultrafiltration/reverse osmosis dual-membrane technology, reclaimed water reuse, secondary water source establishment for coastal cities, and overseas water projects in response to the Belt and Road Initiative, etc will be discussed on the forum. Representatives from membrane technology providers, engineering firms, research institutions, and international water project contractors will be invited to attend the grand event and explore new opportunities in membrane technology applications and global water resource solutions.
